Any offence involving the importing of any kind of drug is treated very, very harshly by our Courts. Even bringing in a little cannabis for your own use is treated vastly differently from having simple possession of it in New Zealand.  Do not take the risk. Importing is serious business and the Police are highly skilled in their international drug intelligence. We repeat that importing drugs is treated on a much more serious basis than other drug offences. Even if you posted some to yourself from overseas, that is classed as importing.
