This Act requires that the following rules be followed : 1. All relevant information needed by the buyer should be made available. 2. Contracts can be cancelled by choice with a refund to the buyer amounting to everything that has been paid so far, less a minor charge for administration. 3. The buyer is protected if the seller goes bankrupt and the buyer has not lost his or her money in those circumstances. 4. The risk relating to loss or damage or theft remains with the seller until the final payment. However, you should note that the Act applies only when the price of goods is under $7500.
